Our advocates are extensively trained to answer questions about pregnancy, abortion, adoption, and parenting. We also provide a Personalized Solutions Assessment which lists various physicians and community organizations that we have built extensive relationships with over the past 14 years.

Earn While You Learn Program:

The EWYL curriculum gives patients an opportunity to earn credits that can be used to purchase baby supplies and other materials while learning what to expect in pregnancy and how to be a good parent and raise a healthy, happy child.

Pregnancy Testing: Reliable and Immediate Results:

Women often find themselves worrying or wondering if they may be pregnant. 1st Choice WHC is a safe place where we help alleviate their fear and get some answers in a competent, caring, environment. Our registered nurses offer quality urine pregnancy tests which can detect a pregnancy as early as the first day after a missed menstrual period and are 99% accurate.

Ultrasound Technology :

A positive pregnancy test is only the first step in establishing a diagnosis of pregnancy. Our certified sonography trained, registered nurses use both abdominal and vaginal ultrasound technology to determine the viability of a pregnancy. We are able to see a beating heart and measure how far along a pregnancy is as well as assess early detection of a possible miscarriage or a non–intrauterine pregnancy. Our Medical Director, a physician, reads every ultrasound to ultimately confirm the diagnosis of pregnancy.

STD Testing :

1st CWHC also offers medical testing as well as education on health, safety and risks of sexually transmitted diseases. We provide testing for the two most commonly occurring bacterial STD’s, Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. (By age 30, research shows 50% if sexually active women will have contacted Chlamydia at some point.) Patients are provided with educational information as well as referrals for treatment and resources for further testing if warranted.
